For the last few years I have been advising job seekers to prepare an objective statement that is focused on the employer and have seen much success. Instead of writing about what the job seeker wants out of the job, I have them write about what they will bring to the job that will strengthen the boom line for employers. Some employers have shared with me that this shows the job seeker "gets it." I.e., he or she is there ti help the employer/company succeed. When an employe helps the company to find success, the employee will have success as well! Any thoughts?
