Great post! I work as a recruiter in Boston for Hollister ( and think that this is some of the most solid resume advice I have ever seen. I can't wait to pass it along to some of my clients. Thank you!

You know, I put this to use for years as a newspaper reporter and never thought of applying it to a resume! I think everyone can use this technique now, or at least knows someone who can. Great advice, and thanks!

This is a great concept and agree with Louisa that it is the "most solid resume advice ever seen".

Would just like to add that the "job objective" should be chosen after researching the job position sought with respect to it's requirements of experience, skills and capabilities.

A customized resume when applying to a different position always increases your chances to get at least an interview call.

Best of Luck to all job hunters and a special thanks to Ms. Susan for this great post.
