Gaps in Work History on Your Resume
This video explains how to handle gaps in work history on your resume:
1. Use years (but no months) when writing about spans of time in your work history.
2. List relevant activities, such as volunteer work, to justify a gap in your history.
3. If you don't have relevant activities for that time, put something down that's honest and indicates you have good character, such as "full-time parent" or "student."
