No Paragraphs on Your Resume

One of the biggest obstacles to getting a resume read is dense paragraphs. So many people make the mistake of writing long paragraphs, undoubtedly filled with juicy tidbits. The problem is, nobody wants to read a long paragraph, especially when they’re in a hurry.

So do the reader a favor by using bullet points to break your info into bite-sized pieces. A bullet statement effectively says, “Here’s an independent thought that’s quick and easy to read.”

Although 52 Resume Writing Tips by Andrew Flusche is written specifically for folks in the legal field, Andrew’s advice is right on for most job seekers.
