Header and Footer in an E-Resume

“Does it matter if the Resume Header is created via Word's "Header and Footer" function (View>Header and Footer)? I always type in the header, but have seen many clients using Word's Header and this concerns me. Thanks Susan for that valuable information on the header/footer!

Interestingly, I have noticed that for about the last year or two many more employers are asking for resumes as Word attachments and these include large organizations such as state universities, as well as private organizations. My assumption is that their antivirus software can handle viruses that may be hidden in the docs.
